Although I have experimented with many different forms of art, I currently am focusing on large, expressive oil paintings of flowers. Working from live plants that grow in my garden, I render detailed drawings each spring. My botanical and oil paintings are based on these drawings.
I studied extensively at the Corcoran College of Art and Design, earning a certificate in drawing and painting. I also have studied at the Brookside Gardens School of Art and Illustration. I show my work widely in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and I have won several awards honoring my work. I belong to the Arlington Artists Alliance and The Art League.
